Network Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Network Engineer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have several years’ experience in a multi-site enterprise network, a strong desire to learn and grow in a dynamic environment, and excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure, scalable, and resilient network infrastructure.
• Contribute to network architecture standards, roadmaps, and technical strategy.
• Perform routine network maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting, upgrades, and patching.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Assist in the configuration and deployment of network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Collaborate with other members of the Global Technical Team and with other IT teams to develop and implement network solutions.
• Act an escalation point for network-related end-user issues and assist with resolving network-related incidents and outages.
• Maintain accurate documentation of network assets, network configurations, diagrams, changes, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Support security initiatives such as zero trust, network hardening, and threat mitigation.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in networking.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Solid understanding of, and experience with, networking concepts, protocols, and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing (OSPF & BGP), switching, VPNs, security policies, SASE etc.).
• Hands-on experience with networking equipment and tools, such as:
  • Cisco ISR routers, Catalyst switches, and Wi-Fi controllers
  • Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama
  • Meraki firewalls, switches, and Wi-Fi access points
  • Cloud Platform networking (Azure, AWS, GCP etc.)
  • Network monitoring systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, PCNSE, etc.) are a plus.
• Experience with network automation (e.g. PowerShell, Python, Ansible) would be beneficial also.
