Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Merchandising Manager – Retail to lead the development and execution of merchandising strategies that maximize sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will oversee merchandise planning, inventory optimization, and team performance while working closely with cross-functional departments to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement merchandising strategies to drive sales and category growth.
• Manage product assortment, pricing, inventory allocation, and promotional activities.
• Analyze sales trends, inventory performance, and market insights to optimize product mix.
• Collaborate with Buying, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to ensure product availability.
• Monitor inventory levels and recommend replenishment or markdown strategies.
• Lead, coach, and develop the merchandising team to achieve business goals.
• Prepare merchandising reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for management.
• Drive continuous process improvements and ensure merchandising standards are consistently maintained.
  
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of solid merchandising experience in the retail industry.
• Minimum of 2 years of managerial experience leading merchandising teams.
• Strong background in merchandise planning, inventory management, and retail operations.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and merchandising or ERP systems.
