Merchandising Manager Personal Care And Beauty Category

We are looking for a commercially driven Merchandising Manager to lead key beauty categories, specifically fragrance, skincare, and hair color. This role is responsible for driving category growth through strategic assortment planning, supplier management, pricing, and in-store execution. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in beauty or personal care retail and a deep understanding of consumer trends within the category.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute category strategies to drive sales, margin, and market share across fragrance, skincare, and hair color
• Manage end-to-end merchandising activities including assortment planning, product selection, pricing, and promotions
• Analyze sales performance, market trends, and customer insights to optimize product mix and inventory levels
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and brand partners; lead negotiations on pricing, terms, and promotions
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and supply chain to ensure effective product launches and in-store execution
• Monitor competitor activity and identify opportunities for differentiation and growth
• Drive innovation by introducing new brands, products, and concepts aligned with market demand
• Ensure optimal stock levels and minimize aging inventory through effective planning and forecasting
  
  
  

• Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
• Proven experience in merchandising, category management, or buying—preferably within beauty, personal care, or FMCG retail
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving category growth
• Experience handling fragrance, skincare, hair color, or adjacent beauty categories is highly preferred
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Agile, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment
