The Markets Operations Analyst provides essential operational support to the Markets Operations function, working closely with the Senior Markets Operations Analyst to ensure the accurate and timely execution of key Markets processes. The role is responsible for preparing and validating data, and supporting the administration of sales incentive calculations, sales and pre‑sales governance activities, and reporting requirements. The Markets Operations Analyst will focus on completing tasks with precision, maintaining data integrity across systems, and providing clear information that helps the Markets team make informed decisions. This role works cross‑functionally with Markets, Finance and Practices and plays an important part in supporting efficient, consistent and compliant operation.

Markets process governance

  • Help to maintain and update the CRM system with accurate and timely sales data, ensuring data integrity.
  • Support the execution of established sales workflows and identify issues or bottlenecks for escalation.
  • Follow established policies and procedures and highlight areas where further clarification or updates may be required.
  • Prepare routine reports and dashboards for stakeholders, ensuring clear presentation of key metrics, performance trends and operational insights.

Sales Incentive Plan (SIP)

  • Support the timely and accurate administration of the SIP process through data preparation, cleansing and validation.
  • Run and verify SIP calculation models based on approved performance and target inputs, escalating anomalies or discrepancies as required.
  • Maintain accurate documentation to support SIP inputs, including targets, OTI and performance data.
  • Prepare SIP statements for distribution and support the resolution of queries relating to data, calculations or statement accuracy.

Pre-sales process governance and reporting

  • Maintain, monitor and update CRM/project management systems with accurate pre‑sales data throughout the lifecycle of pre‑sales activities.
  • Ensure appropriate budget approvals and supporting evidence are recorded and filed in the required systems.
  • Support the creation, maintenance and closure of pre‑sales project records in line with governance expectations.
  • Prepare regular pre‑sales utilisation reporting to assist Markets and Practices in understanding spend against approved budgets.

Stakeholder Management

  • Communicate with stakeholders at various levels to obtain required information and ensure the accuracy of operational data.
  • Work with HR and Finance to support the correct application of compensation, incentive and reporting processes.
  • Build effective working relationships to ensure timely responses, clarity of inputs and consistent operational outcomes.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in operations, sales operations, commercial operations, or a similar analytical support role
  • Strong experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce or similar), ensuring data accuracy and integrity
  • Solid understanding of sales operations processes, including sales workflows, governance, and reporting
  • Experience supporting Sales Incentive Plans (SIP), including data preparation, validation, and calculation support
  • High proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with strong skills in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data validation) and/or reporting tools
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify data discrepancies, anomalies, and process gaps
  • Experience preparing dashboards and routine performance reports for stakeholders
  • Ability to follow established policies and procedures while identifying areas for process improvement
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Markets/Sales, Finance, HR, and Practice teams
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly present data, explain variances, and respond to stakeholder queries
  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate documentation
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
