As a Marketplace PPC Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing paid advertising campaigns across Amazon, Walmart, Wayfair, and Target, for our client, a U.S.-based sleep and wellness brand. Your role will be critical in ensuring campaign accuracy, maximizing ad spend efficiency, and providing clear, data-backed reporting that the client can trust and act on. This role directly impacts revenue growth and marketplace visibility.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven Marketplace PPC Specialist to own Amazon PPC end-to-end, support performance across additional platforms, and provide reporting with clear insights and action plans. Success in this role requires strong Amazon Ads expertise, analytical discipline, and proactive communication to consistently drive high ROAS, efficient ACoS, and scalable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Amazon PPC Management (Primary Focus)
Build, manage, and continuously optimize Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display campaigns
Own keyword strategy: research, harvesting, and negative keyword management
Manage bid strategy (auto and manual campaigns) budget allocation and campaign structure across all ASINs and product lines
Monitor and improve key metrics: ACoS, TACoS, ROAS, CTR, CVR
Conduct weekly audit of campaign performance and implement strategic fixes proactively
Identify scaling opportunities and present clear, data-backed recommendations to the team
Amazon SEO, Keyword Ranking & Measurement
Own and drive organic keyword ranking strategy for priority ASINs — identifying high-value keywords to rank for and coordinating PPC investment to accelerate and defend organic positions
Monitor organic rank movement weekly using third-party tools (Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or equivalent) and report on ranking progress alongside TACoS trends
Leverage Search Query Performance (SQP) reports and Brand Analytics to identify keyword opportunities, assess Share of Voice, and refine targeting for maximum organic and paid visibility
Track and report on key SEO performance indicators including organic rank position, indexed keywords, click share, and estimated organic traffic contribution per ASIN
Coordinate with the catalog and content team to ensure listing optimization (titles, bullets, backend keywords, A+ content) supports ranking goals and aligns with PPC targeting strategy
Multi-Marketplace Advertising (Secondary Focus)
Manage and optimize PPC campaigns on Walmart Advertising, Wayfair Sponsored Products, and Target Roundel
Adapt Amazon PPC strategy to the unique targeting and bidding systems of each additional marketplace
Track blended performance across all platforms and report on channel-level efficiency
Analytics, Reporting & Communication
Produce weekly performance reports with accurate data, actionable insights, and a clear game plan
Identify when campaigns are underperforming and come to meetings already prepared with a recovery strategy
Maintain organized campaign documentation and ad account structures for full transparency
Required Experience:
Minimum 3 years of hands-on Amazon PPC management, with direct ownership of campaign performance
