We’re seeking a hands-on Marketing Communications Lead to build brand awareness, drive demand, and amplify our thought leadership.
The Marketing Communications Lead will own the firm’s messaging, content, and external communications to enhance our firms visibility, reputation, and client engagement.. This is a high-impact role combining strategic planning and tactical execution across digital, PR, events, and account-based initiatives. You will translate complex consulting insights into compelling stories that attract clients, partners, and talent. The ideal candidate will be a creative storyteller, a strategic thinker, and a results-oriented professional passionate about elevating brand presence within the consulting industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 12-month communications strategy aligned with business goals (brand awareness, lead generation)
- Craft and manage high quality messaging, value propositions, case studies, white papers, and thought leadership (articles, blogs, reports, newsletters).
- Manage digital channels: website content, SEO-driven landing pages, email marketing, social media (LinkedIn focus) and paid social campaigns in partnership with external vendors.
- Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, adjusting strategies to optimize reach and engagement.
- Design and execute content programs for demand generation and account-based marketing: target lists, personalized assets, nurture sequences, and performance tracking.
- Plan and support events and webinars: topic development, speaker coordination, promotion, and follow-up.
- Collaborate with project teams to translate client work into marketable stories while ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
- Track and report KPIs (website traffic, MQLs, engagement, media mentions) and optimize campaigns based on data.
- Manage external agencies and freelance designers/writers; control communications budget.
- Coach and mentor any junior marketing staff and contribute to process improvement
Who we are looking for?
- 5+ years experience in B2B marketing communications, preferably with professional services, consulting, or tech firms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to convert technical/strategic content into persuasive, client-facing narratives.
- Proven success in content strategy and creation, thought leadership, LinkedIn marketing, and email campaigns.
- Familiarity with SEO, basic analytics (Google Analytics, CRM reporting), and marketing automation (HubSpot, Marketo or similar).
- Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders.
- Creative, strategic thinker with a metrics-driven mindset.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and handling confidential client information.
- Proven supervisory and organizational skills.
