The Manager, IT Infrastructure – Network & Security is responsible for leading network and security operations, managing technical teams, and supporting the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise infrastructure services. This role oversees both operational delivery and strategic planning across network architecture, cybersecurity controls, incident response, and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
Reporting to the Head of Global IT Infrastructure and Network Security, this position requires a strong blend of leadership, hands-on technical expertise, and the ability to partner with business and technology stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership, Strategy & Service Management
Lead and manage technical teams across network and security functions.
Oversee vendor and technology partner relationships to support operational delivery and project execution.
Manage team workload, service delivery priorities, and project execution across infrastructure initiatives.
Define and drive the strategy and roadmap for network and security services.
Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance on infrastructure and security architecture solutions.
Partner with business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technology solutions.
Support service management processes, including incident, change, and service request management aligned with established SLAs.
Promote standardization, automation, and continuous improvement across infrastructure operations.
Maintain and enforce documentation standards related to infrastructure architecture, procedures, and operational processes.
Network & Security Operations
Security Services
Lead the implementation and management of security controls designed to protect systems, data, and network environments.
Support incident response activities, including investigation, escalation, and remediation of security events.
Manage escalations from security monitoring and detection platforms and coordinate resolution with internal teams and external partners.
Support the enhancement of cloud security governance and secure DevSecOps practices.
Conduct proactive assessments of threats, vulnerabilities, and control gaps, and support remediation planning.
Drive vulnerability management initiatives and support risk assessments across applications, SaaS platforms, and third-party environments.
Apply threat modeling and risk-informed security practices to strengthen control design.
Network Services
Design and support enterprise network architecture across office, data center, and cloud environments.
Drive network optimization to improve performance, resiliency, and operational efficiency.
Maintain architecture documentation, diagrams, and technical standards.
Support asset lifecycle management and infrastructure technology refresh initiatives.
Provide support for critical network incidents, problem resolution, and escalation management.
Lead delivery of network-related projects, including infrastructure upgrades and new site deployments.
Qualifications
Required
Proven experience managing technical teams across network and security disciplines.
At least 3 years of experience in a consulting, solution architecture, or project delivery role supporting infrastructure and security initiatives.
At least 3 years of experience supporting incident detection, incident response, or digital forensics activities.
Strong knowledge of security technologies, including firewalls, endpoint security, SIEM, intrusion prevention/detection, web application security, and cloud security controls.
Experience designing secure solutions within Azure environments, including cloud infrastructure and application security considerations.
Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and methodologies such as NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK, and threat modeling approaches.
Hands-on experience with enterprise networking and security technologies across routing, switching, segmentation, and secure connectivity.
Strong knowledge of enterprise networking concepts including resiliency, routing protocols, NAT, VPN/IPsec, wireless networking, and segmentation strategies.
Experience applying Zero Trust principles and secure network design practices.
Preferred
Relevant network or security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CCNP, CCIE, GIAC) are advantageous.
Knowledge of emerging cybersecurity threats, attack techniques, and evolving security trends.
