What You'll Be Doing

Avon Philippines is looking for a solutions-oriented and business-driven Legal Manager to provide expert legal counsel, risk management, and strategic guidance to our management team and key business functions. This role ensures compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards while protecting Avon’s interests and supporting business growth

Key Responsibilities

• Acting as a legal advisor to Avon and its affiliated entities, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Managing corporate governance matters, including board resolutions and regulatory filings
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts across multiple business functions
• Supporting litigation and dispute resolution, including working with external legal partners
• Driving compliance across areas such as competition law, data privacy, and industry regulations
• Providing legal support to functions such as Supply Chain, Marketing, Procurement, and Retail
• Identifying and mitigating legal risks across projects, programs, and agreements
• Managing labor and employment matters, including union relations and agreements
• Delivering legal and compliance training to increase awareness across the business
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified lawyer with 3–5 years’ experience in corporate, commercial, compliance, or labor law
• Strong knowledge of corporate governance, data privacy, competition law, and contract management
• A practical, business-oriented approach with the ability to balance legal and commercial needs
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams
• High level of ownership, sound judgment, and ethical decision-making
• Ability to manage priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working with regulatory bodies (e.g., SEC, DOLE, BIR, NPC, PCC) is an advantage
  
  

Scope & Collaboration

• Report directly to the Head of Legal, Philippines and serve as the Ethics and Compliance Lead for Asian Markets.
• Work closely with business leaders, the Philippines Leadership Team, and external legal partners to drive sound business decisions.
• Support legal compliance across key business areas, including Supply Chain, Procurement, Marketing, New Product Development, and Omnichannel & Retail Sales.
