The Role
The Learning Capability Officer is responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining learning solutions that support capability-building priorities across the organization. The role partners with subject matter experts, business stakeholders, and learning teams to create engaging, learner-centered, and performance-focused learning experiences across classroom, virtual, digital, and blended modalities.
The position contributes to learning innovation by applying instructional design principles, leveraging learning technologies, and continuously improving learning solutions based on learner feedback, performance metrics, and evolving business requirements.
How You'll Contribute
- Design and develop learning programs, curricula, learning journeys, and instructional materials aligned with identified capability requirements
- Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to create learner-centric content for instructor-led, virtual, digital, blended, and experiential learning solutions
- Support the development of innovative learning approaches using digital tools, multimedia, simulations, microlearning, and interactive learning technologies
- Explore emerging trends and recommend enhancements to improve learner engagement and knowledge retention
- Review and update existing learning programs to ensure content relevance, business alignment, and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct content audits, maintain facilitator guides, participant materials, and digital assets, and support version control requirements
- Partner with business units, subject matter experts, and learning colleagues to gather requirements, validate learning solutions, coordinate content reviews, pilot sessions, and stakeholder feedback activities
- Gather, analyze, and interpret learning feedback and evaluation data
- Recommend enhancements based on learner insights and performance outcomes, and contribute to improving instructional design standards, templates, and development processes
- Manage assigned learning development projects and deliverables within agreed timelines and quality standards
- Monitor project progress, escalate risks or issues when necessary, and maintain accurate records of learning assets and project documentation
What We're Looking For
- Graduate of a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, Psychology, Communications, Business, or a related field
- 4–7 years of experience in Learning and Development, Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, Learning Experience Design, Talent Development, or Capability Development
- Working knowledge of instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, and learning experience design
- Experience developing classroom, virtual, blended, digital, and experiential learning solutions
- Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools, multimedia development, microlearning, simulations, and learning technologies
- Strong content development, written communication, and presentation skills
- Strong project coordination, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills
