Job Description

The Learning & Development Specialist plays a key role in building a high-performing organization by designing and delivering impactful learning programs. This role partners closely with department leads to assess capability gaps, design development plans, and support employee growth through structured training, career pathing, and skills development. Job Description:

  • Plan, design, and implement training programs to support employee development across all levels of the organization.
  • Conduct learning needs assessments and collaborate with department leads to align training programs with business goals.
  • Develop, maintain, and update career pathing frameworks and skills matrices to guide talent progression and upskilling.
  • Monitor training effectiveness though feedback, metrics, and performance outcomes.
  • Partner with leaders to identify high-potential talent and create development plans that support growth and retention.
  • Curate and recommend learning content, platforms, and tools that meet organizational learning needs.
  • Support the implementation of internal knowledge-sharing initiatives and upskilling workshops.
  • Promote a learning culture across the organization by driving participation and engagement in development programs.


Qualifications:

  • Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management, Education, Psychology, or a related field
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in training, learning and development, or talent development
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methods
  • Experience working with career frameworks or skills mapping is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and business partnering capabilities
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple programs and timelines
  • Passionate about people growth and creating meaningful development experiences
