Job Title: IT Support Intern

Reports To: IT Manager / IT Supervisor

Job Summary

The IT Support Intern assists the IT team with basic technical support and routine maintenance of the organizations computer systems and equipment. This internship provides practical experience in troubleshooting, hardware and software setup, IT asset management, and cybersecurity practices under the guidance of experienced IT staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnosing basic computer hardware, software, printer, and connectivity issues.
• Help install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Assist with setting up user accounts, email accounts, system access, and permissions.
• Help users with password resets and basic account-access issues.
• AI (FDE) automation or marketing
• Install approved operating system updates, applications, antivirus software, and security patches under supervision.
• Assist in troubleshooting Wi-Fi, local network, and internet connectivity.
• Maintain accurate records of IT equipment, inventory, repairs, and maintenance.
• Prepare and issue equipment to new employees and assist in recovering equipment during offboarding.
• Help organize cables, equipment, storage areas, and IT workstations.
• Assist with system backups, routine maintenance, upgrades, and other IT projects.
• Follow company policies relating to data protection, confidentiality, access control, and information security.
• Perform other IT-related duties assigned by the supervisor.
