Junior Full Stack Developer

About The Role

The Citco Governance Services Development Team is currently looking for a Junior Full Stack Developer with experience in .Net, React, SQL and Restful Web Services. Responsibilities will primarily include new development, development of enhancements, contribution to system releases and third-level support as required. You will be working in a cross-functional team to build, test and deliver applications for the financial services industry. You will be interfacing with a local Dev Manager and stakeholders in Europe and North America and some workday offset will be required.

Backend Development

• 1-2 years of experience in .NET development (.NET Core, C#)
• Basic understanding of common design patterns and Object-Oriented Programming
• Familiarity with software architecture concepts
  
  

Frontend Development

• Basic experience with front-end technologies:
• JavaScript/TypeScript
• React (entry-level)
• Willingness to learn React ecosystem (Redux and React Hooks)
  
  

Database & API

• Basic knowledge of SQL relational databases
• Familiarity with RESTful API concepts
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing applications using .NET Core and React
• Help implement user interfaces under guidance
• Participate in technical discussions to learn and contribute
• Collaborate with team members on projects
• Learn to troubleshoot technical issues
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Basic understanding of software design principles
• Eagerness to learn web application development
• Familiarity with development methodologies such as Agile
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
• Passion for Software Development
