We are looking for an experienced and strategic Head of Information Technology (IT) to join our clients team and oversee the organizations entire technology infrastructure and operations. In this role, you will ensure that all systems are secure, efficient, and aligned with business goals. You will lead IT strategy development, manage budgets and resources, and drive continuous improvement across all technology functions. This position also requires strong leadership in building high-performing teams and fostering partnerships with vendors and stakeholders. Ultimately, you will play a key role in strengthening the organizations IT foundation and supporting long-term business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement IT strategies that align with organizational goals and long-term objectives.
Manage the IT budget, optimize resource allocation, and ensure cost-effective technology solutions.
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, hardware, and software.
Implement and enforce strong cybersecurity measures to protect systems and data from threats.
Lead and execute IT projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality results, and adherence to budget.
Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing IT team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
Evaluate, select, and negotiate contracts with technology vendors and external service providers.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, laws, and regulatory requirements related to IT operations.
Establish IT governance frameworks, policies, and best practices to promote efficient technology use.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends, recommending solutions that improve business processes and efficiency.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
At least 10 years of experience overseeing IT development, implementation, and operations.
Background in healthcare or multinational companies is required.
Strong leadership experience in managing and developing IT teams.
Proven experience in IT strategic planning and long-term technology roadmap development.
Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, security, and enterprise systems.
Strong vendor management, contract negotiation, and stakeholder communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities.
