Inspector Civil Engineer - Dumaguete

We are seeking an experienced Inspector Civil Engineer to join our inspection team for a major new airport development project. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive inspections, quality assurance, and compliance verification across all civil engineering phases of airport construction.

📌 Key Responsibilities

• Quality Inspections: Perform detailed inspections of civil engineering works including earthworks, foundations, concrete structures, pavements, and drainage systems
• Compliance Verification: Ensure all works comply with:
• International standards (ISO, IEC, ASTM)
• Local building codes and regulations
• Project specifications and design drawings
• Safety and environmental requirements
• Documentation: Prepare comprehensive inspection reports, test certificates, and compliance documentation
• Testing Coordination: Oversee material testing (concrete, asphalt, soil) and coordinate with laboratory facilities
• Site Audits: Conduct regular site audits and safety inspections
• Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with contractors, designers, and project management teams
• Non-Conformance Management: Identify and document defects; track corrective actions
  

• Education: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Experience: Minimum 5-7 years in civil engineering inspection/quality assurance
• Certifications:
• Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent national qualification
• Valid inspection certification (ISO 9001, IQA, or similar)
• Technical Knowledge:
• Proficiency in construction standards and specifications
• Familiarity with airport infrastructure projects (preferred)
• Knowledge of testing procedures and material specifications
• Skills:
• Strong report writing and documentation abilities
• Proficiency with inspection software and digital tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  

• Experience with airport or large infrastructure projects
• Knowledge of ISO 19011 (audit standards)
• Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling)
• Multilingual capabilities
