About The Role
Eucalyptus is looking for an experienced HRIS Analyst with strong, hands-on Dayforce expertise to help support, stabilize, and continuously improve our Dayforce environment following its recent implementation. You will work as part of our global People Technology team, serving as an extension of our North American HRIS group to keep the system running accurately and reliably.
This is a deliberately asynchronous role. Our primary system administrators are based in North America and you will pick up well-defined work from a queue — including configuration changes, reports, audits, and testing — and return it on dependable turnaround, with the primary team retaining final approvals, escalations, and sensitive changes. As you build trust and context, you will also partner directly with the primary HRIS group to recommend improvements and shape how the work gets done. Because you will collaborate across time zones with only a short daily overlap window, success depends on clear written communication, disciplined documentation, and getting the details right the first time.
You are a builder and problem-solver who thrives on self-directed, well-documented work. In this role you will configure and maintain Dayforce, build reports and dashboards, safeguard data integrity, execute testing, and troubleshoot issues across modules — turning a stabilizing system into one that scales.
Key Responsibilities
- Process standard Dayforce transactions from a work queue, including new hire, job change, and termination records, routing sensitive or ambiguous cases to the managing team for approval.
- Configure and maintain Dayforce system components across Core HR, Time & Attendance, and Benefits, working within an established change-management framework.
- Build and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and analytics that deliver actionable people insights to stakeholders.
- Safeguard data integrity through recurring HRIS audits, validation, and correction of errors at the source.
- Support payroll and timekeeping by reconciling time and pay data, running audits before payroll close, and troubleshooting timekeeping issues across modules.
- Execute testing and UAT for system upgrades, releases, and new Dayforce module rollouts, logging defects with clear reproduction steps.
- Monitor integrations and interfaces, triaging errors and documenting failures and resolutions.
- Administer user access, roles, and permissions, and support access audits and least-privilege reviews within the change-management framework.
- Maintain documentation — business requirements, configuration workbooks, process maps, data flows, and controls — as a single source of truth.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system, reporting, and timekeeping issues, escalating complex or sensitive cases to the managing team as needed.
- Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT to identify process and system gaps, recommend improvements, and support future module rollouts and optimization.
- Uphold data privacy and security, handling employee data under least-privilege access and in full compliance with the Philippine Data Privacy Act (RA 10173) and company data-management policies.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of direct, hands-on Dayforce administration experience (required).
- Proven experience configuring Dayforce modules, not solely end-user or help-desk support.
- Strong expertise in reporting and data analysis within Dayforce.
- Experience supporting complex workforce environments (e.g., multi-location, high-volume, or multi-entity).
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues independently.
- Strong working knowledge of core HR, payroll, and timekeeping processes and how they relate to system configuration and data.
- Excellent written communication in English, essential for collaborating asynchronously across time zones.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with disciplined attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work an early Manila shift with a fixed daily overlap with North American hours, and a proven track record working autonomously in a remote, distributed team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Dayforce module implementations, upgrades, or post-go-live optimization.
- Familiarity with integrations, interfaces, or data migrations.
- Experience executing formal UAT/regression testing and defect tracking.
- Prior experience supporting a North American-based team from an offshore or global capability center.
- Exposure to a healthcare, pharmacy, telehealth, or other regulated, high-volume environment.
