The HR Associate will support the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources function, including onboarding, employee records management, payroll and benefits administration, government compliance, and employee relations. This role is both employee- and client-facing, requiring professional interaction and support to internal team members as well as clients. The HR Associate will also assist in engagement initiatives and ensure that HR processes are delivered accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and labor regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist newly hired employees in completing pre-employment requirements and ensure accurate preparation and maintenance of 201 files
Support new hires and employees with the registration of government mandated numbers (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and TIN)
Conduct new hire orientation sessions to ensure employees are properly onboarded and informed of company policies and procedures
Create HRIS accounts for newly hired employees and maintain accurate employee records
Maintain and update the HRIS, particularly attendance and payroll systems, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality
Support payroll administration, including data validation and coordination with relevant stakeholders
Prepare the 13th month pay report and assist in other compensation-related processes
Respond to employee inquiries related to compensation, benefits, and general HR concerns in a timely and professional manner
Assist employees with government loan applications and related documentation
Ensure government contributions are accurately processed and remitted on time
Ensure compliance with DOLE reporting requirements, including the timely preparation and submission of mandatory reports
Administer employee benefits programs such as HMO, accident, and life insurance, including enrollment, updates, and employee support
Process and coordinate employee movements, including promotions, transfers, salary adjustments, status changes, and other employment updates, ensuring proper documentation and system updates
Manage employee offboarding processes, including preparation of exit clearance, Certificate of Employment, BIR Form 2316, and final pay
Help mitigate employee relations concerns while ensuring adherence to company policies and Philippine labor laws
Assist in planning and executing employee engagement initiatives and activities that promote a positive workplace culture and strengthen employee experience
Serve as a professional point of contact for both employees and clients on HR-related matters, providing guidance and support as needed
Support the continuous improvement of HR processes, policies, and internal controls
Maintain strict confidentiality of all HR-related information and records

Perform other HR-related duties that may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science, Human Resource, Psychology or Business-related course
Open to fresh graduates; however, at least 6 months to 1 year of HR experience is an advantage
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, etc
Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies
Highly organized with keen attention to detail
Strong analytical skills
Highly proficient in MS Office, HRIS systems, and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed
