The HR Analyst (Compensation & Benefits, Payroll) is responsible for supporting the day-to-day People operations, primarily focused on accurate and timely processing of payroll, compensation, and benefits. This role ensures that employee data is handled with confidentiality and in compliance with company policies and labor regulations. What The Day Will Look Like
Payroll & HR Administration Support
- Assist in collecting, validating, and preparing payroll data for submission to the payroll vendor.
- Support timely and accurate processing of monthly payroll and ensure employee queries are addressed.
- Process employee payroll, ensuring accuracy in timekeeping, deductions, and other pay-related data.
- Administer compensation and benefits transactions, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Help ensure compliance with government contributions such as SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and withholding tax.
Statutory Compliance & Documentation
- Assist in the preparation and submission of statutory reports and contributions.
- Help maintain and organize employee tax records, BIR Form 2316, and other related documentation.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes and government regulations.
- Coordinate with government agencies when required.
Workforce Administration
- Support onboarding and offboarding activities, including p-file administration
- Help process immigration matters such as work visa/ Work Authorization and AEP applications, renewals, and cancellations
- Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS and physical files.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes related to compensation and benefits.
Employee Support & Coordination
- Respond to basic HR queries related to benefits, payroll, and related company policies.
- Provide administrative support for internal People Operations processes and documentation.
- Primary support in answering employee queries regarding payroll, WFA and related benefits.
- Coordinate with finance and third-party vendors on Payroll and WFA matters as necessary.
- Handle data management and reporting such as centralization of timely data updates and follow up on data correction in HRIS systems, report preparation, payroll administration, and WFA.
- Any other task that may be assigned from time to time.
Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success
- Basic understanding of HR functions and compliance in the Philippines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; familiarity with HRIS and other HR platforms such as Workday, Prosoft U4 and ServiceNow is a plus.
- Good written and spoken English communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- Positive attitude and strong sense of accountability.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1-3 years of HR or administrative experience, ideally in payroll support or HR operations.
- Exposure to Philippine labor law, SSS/PhilHealth/Pag-IBIG contributions, and BIR tax processes is preferred.
- Some experience assisting with work visa and AEP processes is an advantage.
- Experience working with external payroll vendors is a plus.
