Job Description
Sales Leadership & Strategy
Develop and execute telesales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
Lead end-to-end telesales operations including lead generation, customer acquisition, upselling, cross-selling, and retention.
Establish sales forecasts, KPIs, and performance monitoring frameworks.
Identify market opportunities and recommend growth strategies to increase membership and revenue.
Team Management
Build, lead, coach, and develop a high-performing telesales team.
Manage telesales managers, supervisors, and agents to ensure productivity and target achievement.
Operational Excellence
Design and optimize telesales processes to improve conversion rates and operational efficiency.
Monitor sales metrics including:
Conversion Rates
Contact Rates
Revenue per Agent
Cost per Acquisition
Customer Retention
Quality Assurance Scores
Implement best practices in sales operations and workforce management.
Customer Acquisition & Retention
Develop strategies to increase individual, family, and corporate HMO membership enrollment.
Drive customer retention initiatives and member engagement programs.
Partner with Marketing and Product teams to maximize lead conversion and campaign effectiveness.
Compliance & Quality Management
Ensure compliance with healthcare insurance regulations and company policies.
Maintain adherence to data privacy requirements and ethical sales practices.
Monitor call quality and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of sales and telesales experience preferably from a HMO, health insurance, medical insurance, or healthcare benefits organization.
Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience managing telesales teams.
Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales and revenue targets.
Experience leading large-scale inbound and outbound telesales operations.
Strong background in health insurance products, membership acquisition, and customer retention strategies.
Strong understanding of sales performance metrics, forecasting, and pipeline management.
Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
Proficient in CRM systems, sales reporting tools, and performance analytics.
Knowledge of healthcare insurance regulations, compliance requirements, and ethical sales practices.
Must have direct experience working for an HMO or health insurance company (non-negotiable requirement).
