Group Tax Accountant

Our client is seeking a Group Tax Accountant to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee tax affairs in various sectors including shipping, oil and gas, renewables, and infrastructure across the global market. The successful candidate will be part of the establishment of a global tax compliance center in the Philippines.

What You’ll Do

As a Group Tax Accountant, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our clients global tax compliance obligations. You will be responsible for implementing tax compliance processes across various jurisdictions and maintaining up-to-date global transfer pricing documentation.

• Oversee global tax compliance obligations in collaboration with external partners
• Implement tax compliance processes in various jurisdictions
• Update department’s tax tools to track tax compliance obligations
• Maintain and update global transfer pricing documentation (master / local files)
• Support the department in various tax projects via tax technical research and drafting of reports
• Perform any other ad hoc tasks as assigned by management
  
  

What You Bring

The ideal candidate for the Group Tax Aaccountant position is well-versed with the intricacies of global tax compliance.

• Degree in Finance, Accountancy or related tax discipline
• 2-4 years of tax experience preferably with the Big 4
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in Ms Excel and Ms Powerpoint
• Experience in accounting software is an advantage
