The Google Workspace Administrator is responsible for managing all aspects of Google Workspace at the provider/reseller level for our organization. This role supports the establishment, maintenance, and optimization of our Google Partner relationship and portal, ensuring that our company meets all necessary qualifications and delivers exceptional service to clients. The ideal candidate will hold required Google certifications, demonstrate experience as a Google partner provider, and possess outstanding customer service and technical skills to support clients with Google Workspace setup, licensing, management, security, and configuration.
Responsibilities:
Google Workspace Provider/Reseller Management:
Oversee the provisioning, administration, and support of Google Workspace environments for multiple client organizations.
Facilitate onboarding and offboarding of clients, including bulk user migrations, domain management, and organizational unit configuration.
Manage Google Workspace licensing, billing, and renewals at the provider level.
Google Partner Relationship and Portal Support:
Support the establishment and ongoing management of the organizations Google Partner status and related qualifications.
Maintain the Google Partner portal, ensuring all requirements, certifications, and documentation are up-to-date. Coordinate with Google and internal teams to address partnership needs and opportunities.
Client Support and Service Delivery:
Serve as the primary technical contact for client inquiries regarding Google Workspace setup, migration, and configuration.
Provide expert guidance on security settings, compliance, and best practices tailored to client requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues promptly and professionally.
Security and Compliance:
Implement and monitor security policies, access controls, and data protection measures across client environments.
Stay current with Google Workspace updates, security advisories, and compliance standards.
Documentation and Process Improvement:
Develop and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation for internal processes and client-facing instructions.
Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency in Google Workspace administration and support workflows.
Requirements:
Valid Google Workspace Administrator or Google Cloud certification(s) required for provider qualification.
Demonstrated experience working as a Google Workspace provider or reseller, including hands-on administration and client support.
Strong understanding of Google Workspace architecture, security, and management at scale.
Proficiency in troubleshooting, user provisioning, and organizational unit management.
Preferred Skills:
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills; proven ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to non-technical users.
Experience supporting Google Workspace migrations and integrations with third-party applications.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
Familiarity with industry compliance and security frameworks relevant to Google Workspace (e.g.,GDPR, HIPAA).
