Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Producing Portfolio Reviews and documents for assessment in preparation for client meetings with the use of a financial planning software program.
  • This will involve:
    • Inputting data provided by a manager in the financial planning software.
    • Reviewing the data in the financial planning software to ensure it is accurate.
    • Generating and compiling reports from the financial planning software.
    • Using the financial planning software to prepare other documents.
  • Assisting in administration tasks for client meetings and on an ongoing basis (e.g., account applications)
  • Managing data in a financial planning software, including:
    • Setting up new clients and related information in the software
    • Updating investment information in the financial planning software regularly
    • All administrative processing & workflow management
  • Admin team coordination
  • Database maintenance
  • Proactively work with internal and external business units to anticipate administrative requirements and deliver to deadlines.
  • Support the end-to-end processes associated with administration, onboarding processes, drafting correspondence, and completion of tasks where required.
  • Contacting and speaking with suppliers and product providers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in finance, Commerce, Business or Accounting (highly advantageous)
  • At least 3 years of work experience in financial planning.
  • Experience I or exposure to X-Plan (highly advantageous)
  • Intermediate skill level using Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively.
  • Preferred experience working with Australian clients.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Must be highly engaged, focused, and data-driven, and must be approachable and professional
