The Forex Account Officer is responsible for driving business growth by managing sales activities for assigned accounts, generating new business opportunities, and maintaining strong client relationships. The role handles the presentation and sale of the Company's products and services, negotiation of foreign exchange pricing, booking of client orders, and coordination with internal teams to ensure efficient service delivery and a positive customer experience.
Duties And Responsibilities
Manage sales activities and business development initiatives for assigned client accounts.
Generate leads and identify opportunities to acquire new clients and expand the existing customer portfolio.
Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Present, promote, and sell the Company's foreign exchange products and services based on client requirements.
Provide clients with foreign exchange pricing and negotiate rates within established Company guidelines and approved parameters.
Book and process client orders accurately and coordinate the timely execution of transactions.
Monitor client requirements and provide appropriate assistance throughout the sales and transaction process.
Ensure all transactions and client activities comply with applicable regulatory requirements and Company policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate and updated records of sales activities, client interactions, transactions, and account developments.
Monitor sales performance and progress against assigned targets.
Provide timely and professional customer service and address client inquiries and concerns.
Conduct product presentations and training to ensure clients have a clear understanding of the Company's products and services.
Coordinate with relevant internal departments to facilitate transactions and ensure smooth and timely service delivery.
Support other sales and account management activities as required by the business.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in any four-year course.
At least two (2) years of sales experience in the banking industry or a related field.
Experience in account management, client acquisition, relationship management, or financial product sales is preferred.
Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Good communication and presentation skills.
Customer-focused with the ability to develop and maintain professional client relationships.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively with internal teams to facilitate client transactions and service requirements.
Knowledge or exposure to foreign exchange products and transactions is an advantage.
