About The Role
The role is part of the Financial Control (FC) community of practice, with principal general accountabilities being:
- Ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory reporting requirements
- Implementation and monitoring of the Group’s accounting policies and internal control frameworks
- Integrity of the numbers by delivering accurate, reliable and timely financial information
- Driving Enterprise Finance simplification agenda, ensuring consistency with objectives and a focus on continuous improvement
- Embedding a robust governance culture

What will your day look like?
In particular, this role is responsible for:
- Support international end‑to‑end accounting and reporting processes by providing accurate and timely financial information to onshore Finance Control teams.
- Maintain financial integrity by executing strong financial controls across all hub‑based processes.
- Assist in implementing and embedding centralised, standardised processes and controls within the Institutional ex‑Markets team.
- Deliver accurate and timely month‑end outputs—registers, schedules, reconciliations, trial balance—tailored to meet statutory and regulatory requirements
- Take end‑to‑end accountability for country‑agnostic processes such as journals, reconciliations, and other core control activities.
- Ensure “quality at source” by implementing and maintaining robust process‑level controls.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional accounting qualification preferred: CA, CPA, or equivalent.
- Relevant experience in accounting, audit, financial control, or shared services.
- Familiarity with financial services or regulated industries is an advantage.
