Job Description

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for financial planning, reporting, and analysis to drive optimal business performance, cost efficiency, and profitability. This person will work closely with the US Finance and Leadership teams, providing deep insights into trends, variances, and forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

o Develop, maintain, and improve financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.

o Monitor financial performance by comparing actual results with budgets and forecasts, focusing on key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to a security/technology company (e.g., subscription revenue, operational costs, guard metrics, scheduling).

o Analyze variances and identify significant trends, providing actionable insights to management.

Reporting and Reconciliation:

o Assist in the monthly and quarterly close process, analyzing trends and variances related to revenue and expenses.

o Prepare and consolidate regular reporting packages for senior leadership, ensuring data integrity and timeliness.

o Utilize financial systems (e.g., Quickbooks, Stripe, HubSpot, Shopify, NetSuite, Salesforce) to gather data and generate accurate reports.

Cost & Profitability Analysis:

o Conduct thorough cost analysis, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements across various functions, including operations, customer care, guard services, and sales.

Data Management & Security:

o Ensure the integrity and security of all financial data, aligning with US corporate standards and compliance requirements.

Skills and Qualifications

Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A CPA license is a significant advantage.

Experience: 1-3 years of proven experience as a Financial Analyst or in a corporate finance setting.

Technical Proficiency:

o High proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting.

o Familiarity with financial software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems like NetSuite is highly desirable.

o Knowledge of statistical analysis processes and packages.

Soft Skills:

o Outstanding analytical and critical thinking skills with a detail-oriented approach.

o Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for reporting and presentation, necessary for collaborating with a US-based team.

o Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a fast-paced, high-growth technology environment.
