What are we looking for?

We're looking for a Finance Officer who will be responsible for day-to-day transactional bookkeeping across two Xero organisations (SC and CQ), keeping the ledger accurate and bank accounts reconciled so the onshore Senior Finance Officer can focus on reporting, BAS, and ATO compliance.

What are you expected to do?

  • Daily bank reconciliation across all accounts (SC and CQ)
  • Code and post supplier invoices, expense claims, credit card transactions
  • Raise client invoices, apply receipts, chase aged debtors
  • Reconcile intercompany transactions between the two entities
  • Month-end reconciliations (bank, payroll clearing, GST, super, PAYG)
  • Prepare supporting schedules for BAS (BAS lodged onshore)
  • Flag and escalate anything unusual to the Senior Finance Officer
  • Maintain source document filing in SharePoint Systems System What For Xero (x2 orgs) GL, AP, AR, bank rec, invoicing — separate org per entity Microsoft 365 Outlook, Teams, SharePoint for comms and file storage Azure Virtual Desktop
  • Secure remote access — all work done inside AVD (no local data storage)


You'll be a great fit if:

  • You are Xero certified (not just familiar with).
  • You have a minimum of 2 years of experience working with Australian clients.
  • You understand Australian GST and BAS concepts.
  • You possess experience with dual-entity or multi-org bookkeeping.
  • You have strong Excel skills.
  • You demonstrate high proficiency in written English.
  • You ideally have NDIS or aged care sector experience (nice-to-have).
  • You have exposure to MYOB, as payroll sits there, though it isn't part of this role (nice-to-have).
  • You bring experience with intercompany reconciliation (nice-to-have).
  • You are willing to work Monday to Friday (6:30 AM to 3:30 PM Manila Time).

Please note: This role is remote; however, we require candidates to be based locally in the Philippines. This is to support occasional onsite activities such as team events, client meetings, or equipment handover. Additionally, local residency is necessary for compliance with Philippines labor laws and employment regulations.
