Job Position: Finance Manager

Job Description

  • Lead and oversee all finance and accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, strong internal controls, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management reports, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
  • Monitor financial performance through variance analysis and provide recommendations to improve profitability, cost efficiency, and overall business performance.
  • Manage financial aspects of catering and hospitality operations, including food and labor costs, logistics expenses, inventory valuation, and contract profitability.
  • Oversee treasury operations, including cash flow management, banking relationships, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll financial controls, and payment approvals.
  • Support pricing strategies, tender evaluations, and financial analysis for contracts, projects, and new business opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards, tax regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies.
  • Oversee financial controls for inventory, fixed assets, procurement, and operational expenditures across multiple sites and remote camp operations.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance team while collaborating with Operations, Procurement, Human Resources, Warehouse, and Camp Management to achieve business objectives.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits, implement audit recommendations, liaise with banks, auditors, government agencies, tax authorities, clients, and other stakeholders, and perform other duties that support the company's financial and strategic goals.

Working Environment/Conditions

  • Office-based with regular interaction with operational departments.
  • May be required travel to company offices, warehouses, catering facilities, client locations, and remote mining or petroleum camp sites.
  • May be required to work beyond regular business hours during month-end and year-end closing, budgeting, audits, and major operational projects.

Job Specifications

  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years experience in a supervisory or managerial finance or accounting role.
  • Prior experience in the catering, hospitality, food service, mining support services, logistics, construction, or related industries is highly preferred.
  • Experience in managing multi-site or project-based financial operations is a strong advantage
  • Hands-on experience in financial analysis, contract costing, and project profitability reporting.
  • Deep knowledge on financial reporting standards and applicable tax regulations with solid expertise in budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, inventory control, and cash flow management.
  • Proficient in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Unwavering integrity, professionalism, and sound ethical judgement.
  • Flexible and able to perform effectively under pressure while meeting strict deadlines and can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
