About The Role

As a WTG Inspector (with GWO Certification) at Bureau Veritas S.A.', you will be responsible for conducting inspections and maintenance on wind turbine generators (WTGs) in Laguna, Calabarzon. This is a full-time position that requires expertise in the mining, resources and energy sector, specifically in wind turbine engineering and maintenance.

What You'll Be Doing

• Conducting comprehensive inspections of wind turbine generators to ensure they are operating safely and efficiently
• Identifying and reporting any mechanical, electrical or structural issues with the WTGs
• Performing routine maintenance tasks such as lubricating components, replacing worn parts and cleaning turbine blades
• Providing detailed inspection reports and recommendations for remedial work
• Collaborating with the engineering and maintenance teams to address any identified problems
• Adhering to all health, safety and environmental protocols
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a WTG inspector or in a similar role within the mining, resources and energy sector
• Possession of a valid Global Wind Organisation (GWO) certification
• Strong technical knowledge of wind turbine generator systems and components
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve issues
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• Good written and verbal communication skills to prepare detailed inspection reports
• Willingness to work in a field-based environment and adhere to safety protocols
