Our Global Operating Center located in Manila is pivotal to enhancing the Firm’s operational efficiency and streamlining legal and business services support across our global network. Our center provides comprehensive administrative, financial and operational services across office operations, compliance and new business, finance, technology, human resources, innovation and marketing. By centralizing these critical functions, the center ensures consistency and quality in service delivery while reducing operational costs. Through its integrated approach, our Global Operating Center enables the Firm to focus on its core legal services, drive global growth and maintain high standards of client service across all offices.

Work in a highly dynamic global team and provide expertise around Software Development and Testing, Configuration Management and Deployment for White & Case.

A DevOps Engineer must balance several roles in the development process, including computer coding, testing and deployment. They must also possess the communication and management skills needed to oversee and manage multiple teams continually working on updating source code, testing the updated sections and deploying them.

Youll dive right into creating innovative solutions. You’ll join an inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated to developing and deploying solutions that support White & Case’s diverse and critical businesses. Youll be using the latest technologies, data management, and security practices in all aspect of software development. Critical thinking, clear communication, and collaboration are key to successful product delivery.

Duties And Accountabilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support rapid, reliable software delivery
  • Collaborate with development, QA, security, and operations teams to improve system reliability and deployment efficiency
  • Support the patching efforts to the SharePoint and Azure Devops environments
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and scalability; proactively identify and resolve issues
  • Automate routine operational tasks to reduce manual effort and minimize errors
  • Implement and maintain logging, monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes
  • Ensure security best practices are embedded throughout the development and deployment lifecycle (DevSecOps)
  • Participate in on‑call rotations and contribute to root cause analysis and post‑incident reviews
  • Continuously evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and process improvements
  • Review all deployment documentation and release notes
  • Document regular maintenance, troubleshooting, technical procedures and hand-off documents as necessary
  • Build and develop application usage and telemetry dashboards
  • Stabilize product releases and day to day release requests
  • Serve as escalation point for problems related to custom application
  • Work with Developers on troubleshooting bug fixes
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting to internal staff
  • Act as a Tier II support to the Technology Service Desk
  • Execute application test and validate code changes when in QA state and post-deployment/pre-production
  • Create, revise and maintain processes for build automation, continuous integration and continuous deployment
  • Enforce policies for standardizing IT systems and software
  • Actively monitor new and emerging Development, configuration Management and Deployment-related technologies, trends, issues and solutions

Essential Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in a DevOps, SRE, or systems engineering role
  • Strong hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Experience with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell, Go)
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in an agile, fast‑paced, collaborative environment
  • Professional experience in working effectively with business stakeholders, project managers, technology teams and end users in a cross cultural environment
  • Possess strong written and oral communication skills and has significant experience with facilitating regular touchpoint calls/meetings and is able to liaise within the IT Department including internal and external partners i.e. vendors;
  • Ability to work in teams of highly skilled technical professionals
  • Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues, both logical and interpersonal
  • Must be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Capable of grasping new concepts without prior experience
  • Willing to travel, work US hours and overtime if necessary
  • Cooperative, has keen attention to detail and is innovative

Qualifications

  • With at least 4 years of relevant experience and minimum of 2 years as a DevOps Engineer
  • 2 years’ experience with Azure DevOps Service/Server, Visual Studio, IIS
  • Experience with installation/configuration/troubleshooting of Applications
  • Experience working in a Microsoft Stack architecture
  • Experience with development and administration of JIRA and SharePoint is a plus
