DevOps Engineer

Job Description

As a DevOps Engineer, you will support the design, implementation, and improvement of CI/CD pipelines, contribute to database maintenance, assist in IT risk compliance efforts, and help manage containerized environments. You will be involved in server management, patching, and systems monitoring using tools like Prometheus and Grafana. This role is ideal for someone with solid hands‑on experience who is ready to take on more responsibility while still growing their expertise in complex DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to support reliable software delivery.
• Assist in database management tasks, including performance tuning, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Support IT risk management activities and help ensure compliance with established policies and best practices.
• Participate in managing containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), including deployments and scaling tasks.
• Perform server administration, including patching, updates, and basic configuration.
• Monitor system performance using Prometheus, Grafana, and similar tools, and escalate issues as needed.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance workflows and improve system efficiency.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues and provide support for application and system incidents.
  
  

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar hands-on infrastructure role.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD tools and continuous delivery practices.
• Good understanding of database systems and basic optimization techniques.
• Awareness of IT risk management, compliance requirements, and security best practices.
• Practical experience with containerization technologies (Docker required; Kubernetes is a plus).
• Experience with server management, including patching and basic system monitoring.
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a proactive mindset.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
