Job Overview

• As a DevOps Engineer, you contribute to accomplishing the squads purpose. You do this by working on the customer journey from the backlog, using the Agile method end-to-end. You continuously strive to improve yourself and your colleagues.
• As a DevOps Engineer, you control both the design phase and the actual development and testing of our applications. You understand the entire stack, so that you can bring applications into production and resolve incidents.
• You are in constant dialogue with your tribe: you understand the goal of our business and work in a team of experts to find the most relevant solution for the customer’s needs

Roles and responsibilities

• Continuously improve infrastructure for scalability, security, and fault tolerance
• Integrate DevOps methodology into development, deployment, and operations lifecycle
• Develop super clean and well-structured deployment, monitoring, and application management scripts
• Enable rapid deployment of new product features while ensuring stability, high availability, and performance
• Optimize infrastructure and phase out legacy systems
• Monitor and proactively troubleshoot infrastructure resources
• Ensure system security compliance with ING standards and policies (IT RISK)

Key Capabilities/Experience

• Scripting (Powershell, Bash, Python, and similar) skills.
• Advanced to proficient knowledge in RHEL, Windows, Websphere, MQ
• Risk, Vulnerability, and LifeCycle Management
• Working knowledge of containerization i.e. (Docker, Kubernetes or similar)
• Azure Devops, CI/CD, Ansible
• Basic knowledge of Oracle RDBMS
