Job Summary

  • Responsible for the supervision and direction of the Department's acievements in line with the Bank's key result areas. Manages the distribution of Treasury products across the bank through various networks, such as as Retail Banking Group, Wealth Management, Corporate Banking Group, SME, GES and Direct Treasury accounts.

How will you contribute?

  • Over-all in charge of the development of the Treasury Sales Business Strategy , Retail and High Net Worth individualsas aligned with the general direction of the Segment Head and the Treasury Head
  • Monitors the over-all performance of the Business Strategy to ensure that management targets and objectives are achieved as provided by internal and external policies
  • Directly oversees the respective Sales teams on the distribution of Treasury products to CBG, SME, GES, WMG, RBG clients and direct Treasury clients, if any.
  • Develops and maintains CBG, SME, GES, Wealth and RBG client base by providing professional customer service and regular client visits. Obtains new businesses and maintains harmonious/stable relationships with existing clients.
  • Maintains a high level of marketing skills/knowledge and market reading by keeping oneself attuned with market trends and developments.
  • Keeps constantly aware of products offered, market and client updates and provides feedback to management.
  • Recruits, develops and maintains a team of competent Sales Officers, who are well versed in Treasury products and process flows, as well as marketing and selling such products to target market.
  • Monitors the individual team members and group performance and ensure that management targets and objectives are met.
  • Acts as alternate/back-up (in times when Traders and Treasury Heads are not available) in performing any of the treasury functions and ensures that this is in compliance with control procedures.
  • Assesses, and promotes process efficiencies and innovation and creates strategies to ensure effective implementation of the business Strategy. In close coordination with the Segment head and product stakeholders

  • BAP Treasury Certified Professional
  • SEC Certified Fixed Income Salesmen
  • 10-15 Years of in-depth knowledge of Treasury products with intensive market network
  • Excellent negotiating and marketing skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good supervisory and leadership skills
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills
  • Proficient in market reading
