LawAdvisor was founded in 2015 in Melbourne, Australia with a fearless and ambitious belief: that everybody should have access to justice.

We hypothesised that the high costs, inefficiencies, and difficulties of obtaining legal help could be overcome simply by providing greater access to legal information, and by providing everybody with real-time access to high-quality, affordable lawyers online.

Our mission has since been supported by thousands of lawyers and has allowed us to expand and set up offices across the globe. Weve also attracted high profile investors and partners who have shared our mission to transform legal service delivery.

Were still not satisfied. The potential exists to completely revolutionise the practice of law. The start of this decade has delivered LawAdvisor with a new mandate: to overhaul and transform how lawyers work, and how people interact with and consume legal services, with state of the art legal practise management technology to (i) increase efficiencies; (ii) automate routine processes; (iii) increase transparency; (iv) bring the legal practice to the 21st century.

We Need…

An air traffic controller

As our Delivery Manager, you bring clarity, rhythm, and calm to the creative chaos of product development. You combine strong organisational skills with high emotional intelligence to keep teams aligned, focused, and moving forward—especially when things get complex.

You’ll be embedded within a cross-functional, multidisciplinary team, where you own and drive delivery execution across one or more engineering teams. You’ll work closely with Product Managers, partnering with and supporting them to plan, sequence, and deliver work effectively. You’ll also oversee and coordinate release and deployment activities, ensuring all contributors are aligned and that releases land smoothly with minimal disruption.

Most importantly, you are an exceptional listener and facilitator. You’re deeply committed to empowering teams to take ownership of their delivery, risks, and issues—rather than carrying those burdens for them. Your focus is on improving team performance by removing impediments, surfacing risks early, and creating an environment where teams are engaged, accountable, and set up to succeed.

You Will…

• Own and facilitate Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives) and ensure Agile practices are applied consistently and pragmatically
• Collaborate closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to analyse business needs, collect requirements, and assist technical and business teams with documentation and project management.
• Effectively translate and accurately communicate to technical and non-technical stakeholders as well as facilitate discussions within a multidisciplinary team.
• Analyse data to extract actionable insights from delivery performance metrics, helping identify areas for improvement.
• Provide conflict resolution within delivery teams or with our stakeholders, ensuring smooth operations.
• Maintain momentum by actively addressing risks and issues to keep your team moving at speed - often requiring you to track, manage, and communicate dependencies and mitigate or remove risks as they are discovered.
• Interpret and plan projects or workload forecasts in collaboration with functional areas or departments. Identifies and supervises the resolution of account-specific service issues, including the prioritisation of work requests.
  
  
  

• Educational experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Prior experience as a software engineer (or equivalent hands-on technical role) with the ability to understand system complexity, trade-offs, engineering constraints and manage teams.
• Proven experience in using Agile principles: Youve had hands-on experience putting Agile principles into action. You can create a clear, open, and transparent framework for teams to deliver.
• You’re hyper-organised: Can make complicated information simple and easy to process
• Experience balancing multiple priorities: You can address internal risks and issues actively and know when to escalate them. You establish the teams cadence and tempo and ensure that it is sustainable. You understand how to monitor, manage, escalate, and communicate dependencies.
• Life-cycle perspective: The ability to deliver a project through the various stages of the product lifecycle from start to end.
• You’re naturally curious, love learning new things, and are proactive in sharing knowledge with others.
• A bias for action: You’re happy to roll up your sleeves and muck in. You possess a strong sense of urgency in driving projects to completion while achieving the desired business outcomes.
• You’re comfortable with chaos: Even without perfect precedents or direction, you can find solutions and chart a course to clarity and execution. You can figure out how to accomplish the impossible and handle change like a boss.
• Experience working both autonomously and in cross-functional teams.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills: Using a range of communication skills to accurately communicate to technical and non-technical stakeholders as well as facilitating discussions within the team with potentially difficult dynamics.
