Job Title: Data Engineer

Location: Makati City (Onsite)

Schedule: Compressed Workweek Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Salary Range: 30,000 50,000 / month

Job Summary:

The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data systems that enable efficient storage, integration, and retrieval of business data. This role ensures data accuracy, quality, and availability across multiple systems to support analytics, reporting, and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data pipelines to collect, process, and transform data from various sources.
• Build and optimize databases, data warehouses, and data lake structures.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across platforms.
• Collaborate with data analysts, IT, and business teams to understand data needs.
• Implement and manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
• Monitor data system performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain documentation of data architecture, flows, and processes.
• Ensure compliance with data security and privacy standards.
  
  
  

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 13 years of experience in data engineering, database management, or similar role.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python, R, etc.).
• Experience with database technologies (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL, etc.).
• Familiarity with ETL tools and cloud data platforms is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
  
  
  

• Experience in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Basic understanding of data governance and cybersecurity
