Purpose of the Role
As a Data Analyst you will be you will be overseeing and providing data analysis work, enhancing insightful Power BI reports, and providing strategic insights to support business decisions. You will leverage your expertise in Power BI to develop sophisticated, interactive dashboards and reports that provide stakeholders with a clear view of key performance indicators and emerging trends within the life insurance market. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact on the company’s success by driving data-centric strategies and fostering a culture of analytical excellence.
Responsibilities of the Role
- Data Analysis and Reporting Excellence
- Support data gathering and packaging of information related to SD, PD, Ops CoE, ACM (region and group related reports).
- Work collaboratively with regional and local teams to define and implement performance reporting requirements, KPIs, and metrics that allow better understanding and visibility of the OEs performance against its targets.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, accurate, and timely data analyses and reports that meet the strategic needs of the organization.
- Strategic Data-Driven Decision Support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business challenges and opportunities that can be addressed through data-driven insights.
- Provide strategic recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making processes at all levels of the organization.
- Develop and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights into business performance and industry trends.
- Support in building a data-based culture within the organization.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team to ensure the adoption of best practices and the latest analytical techniques.
- Support in coordinating the implementation and expansion of transitioning manual reports of Insurance Operations into PowerBI where applicable.
- Develop a team of data analysts, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Requirements for the Role
- Knowledge of the insurance business (metrics and measures)
- Highly analytical and with data insights experience
- Dashboarding, reporting and analytic skills (tool preference: PowerBI; advantage if also knowledgeable of Sisense)
- Working knowledge of Excel spreadsheet functions (ex. Formulas, Pivot Tables, Lookups)
- Detail-oriented with keen sense of what stakeholder needs.
- Experience with AI-driven adaptive learning technologies and data analysis for personalized training
- Proficiency in using AI tools for content recommendation, automated assessment, and feedback.
