About The Role

We are looking for a motivated and people-focused Crew Officer who wants to play a key role in supporting the lifeblood of our fleet—our crew. In this role, you’ll be at the center of vessel operations, ensuring that highly qualified seafarers are deployed on time, fully compliant, and supported throughout their journey. You will work closely with global teams, engage with multicultural crews, and contribute directly to the performance, safety, and success of our vessels. This position is ideal for someone who loves solving problems, working in a dynamic environment, and taking ownership of meaningful, real-world operational challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day crew operations and ensure smooth deployment across vessels
  • Coordinate global crew changes efficiently and in line with company policies
  • Maintain up-to-date crew personnel files and certifications (STCW, Flag, internal standards
  • Communicate regularly with vessels and provide timely crew updates
  • Arrange travel logistics for crew and superintendents
  • Conduct port visits and engage with crew onboard
  • Track performance evaluations and support improvement initiatives
  • Plan and oversee training programs and additional development needs
  • Conduct initial interviews for prospective crew members
  • Support fleet safety culture and contribute to HSSE objectives

Qualifications

  • ⁠Strong computer and administrative skills
  • ⁠Maritime, marine HR, or ship management background preferred
  • ⁠Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • ⁠Comfortable working with people from diverse nationalities
  • ⁠Able to perform under pressure and provide support with flexible or 24/7 availability when required
