About The Role

Your role will play a key part in supporting the various financial and planning activities of specific business portfolio under Retail and Business & Private bank division. You will be responsible to support the month end activities to help finalize the actuals, forecast, and outlook numbers. There is also preparation of various analytical reports and month-end packs to help business understand gaps between actuals, forecast and outlook. In addition, the role also requires supporting the business with its productivity strategies be it local or bank-wide initiatives which requires coordination across various stakeholders.

What will your day look like?

If you are passionate about financial planning and management, we are seeking talented individuals to join the Cost CoE - FPM team who has:

• Has a good understanding of FP&A concepts (Run rate, Plan and Outlook) that can help drive accurate financial forecasts and analyses.
• Exposure to business and commercial acumen that can support in translating financial insights into actional recommendations for stakeholders
• An inquisitive mind set and proactive, constantly seeking new ways to improve and drive operation efficiency
• An appetite to do data wrangling and analyzing financial data to support business decision-making
• Has the ability to translate financial data into clear insights that support decision‑making.
• Has a structured approach to building forecasts and budgets, ensuring they are data‑driven, realistic, and aligned with business strategy.
• Can work with ambiguity and can navigate through uncertainties.
• Confidence to challenge the status quo by evaluating existing practices and can propose innovative solutions
• Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional team and present financial information to stakeholders
  
  
  

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Professional certifications such as Chartered Financial Analysis (CFA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with extensive experience may be beneficial
• Experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a similar industry or organisation
• Exposure to Retail and Business & Private bank is a plus
• Advanced MS Excel skills, data wrangling, ability to create reports or ability to write macros is an advantage
