What The Day Will Look Like

  • Act as “owner” of specific product and/or market
  • Serve as intermediary between Global Partners and Overseas Counterparts, Account Managers (Directors and Partners), junior staff resources (Analyst-Consultant) and Clients
  • Manage client projects from start to finish, translating client needs into analysis and design recommendations across topics such as executive compensation, board of director compensation, incentive plan design, equity guidelines
  • Manage projects within agreed upon timeline and within budget
  • Act as point person for all methodology / analysis / output on each staffed project
  • Provide regular guidance and developmental feedback to junior staff
  • Develop summary reports including findings and recommendations
  • Assist in managing a business line’s revenue and expenses
  • Ensure efficient workload management and research processes
  • Assist in overseeing key areas of firm research
  • Assist in new business/firm development activities (e.g., speeches, white papers, etc.)
  • Assist in overseeing recruitment and training programs for junior staff
  • Assist in various ad-hoc projects

Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success

  • A Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience is required, preferably in a related field
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in the consulting or compensation industry, ideally with experience in executive compensation, equity compensation and corporate governance
  • Ability to collaborate well with colleagues in other offices in a fast-paced, consulting environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, for interactions with clients and colleagues
  • Flexibility to work in situations where there is no unique right answer
  • Expert knowledge of compensation strategy, design, and implementation issues, including base pay, short- and long-term incentives and equity dilution management
  • Strong familiarity with global executive remuneration trends, policies, and guidelines especially those related to the Australian and New Zealand market
  • Advanced project management skills
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
