MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

To ensure commercial plans are available, accurate and up to date in the commercial planning tool to give visibility of throughput estimates and investments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accountable for the maintenance and uploading of the channel category plans in the commercial planning tool. Responsible for accurate and timely creation and uploading of the Channel Cycle Plan activities to enable field sales.
  • Responsible for providing the Regional and Key Customer breaks for activities running in the Channel in alignment with ICP and MBP agreements.
  • Responsible for updating, validating and ensuring accuracy of information in the investment and space databases on a quarterly basis.
  • Responsible for availability of a library of effective activities in the Channel according to pre- and post- evaluation guidelines.
  • Responsible for consistently liaising with the Regions and conducting trade visits to understand channel issues and opportunities and give feedback to head office.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • 8+ years commercial experience in sales or marketing, with a proven record in the FMCG space.
  • Strong understanding of customers, the selling process, and key business functions.
  • Advanced knowledge of shopper and market intelligence, category/channel/shopper trends, and business processes like ICP and dynamic forecasting.
  • A collaborative spirit, initiative, and a passion for continuous learning.
