Job Overview

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Category & Shopper Development Lead to drive category growth, shopper engagement, and trade excellence across key channels. This role will be responsible for developing category strategies, translating shopper insights into actionable plans, and partnering with cross-functional teams to maximize business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category and shopper strategies aligned with brand objectives and market opportunities.
• Translate shopper insights into effective retail programs, merchandising initiatives, and selling stories.
• Lead trade marketing planning, including promotional calendars, in-store activations, displays, and channel-specific initiatives.
• Monitor category performance and identify growth opportunities across channels.
• Analyze trade and shopper data to generate actionable business recommendations.
• Conduct post-activity evaluations and provide insights for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Brand, Sales, Trade Marketing, and Commercial teams to ensure execution excellence.
• Lead business reviews and provide strategic recommendations to management.
  
  
  

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Economics, or related field.
• Master's Degree is an advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Category Development, Trade Marketing, or Shopper Marketing within the FMCG or Beverage industry.
• Strong expertise in category management, shopper marketing, retail execution, and trade analytics.
• Experience interpreting consumer and shopper insights to drive business decisions.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
