Primary Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain business documentation (work instructions, job aids, workflows) for OptumRx Customer Service. Process documentation includes both capability changes impacting our ORx systems as well as business process changes. Create and maintain CAG (Carrier, Account, Group) Alerts for clients. Create and maintain CPDs (Client Procedure Documents). Create and maintain process workflows for Customer Service Operations. Create communications, as needed
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Process writing experience across various industries (standard operating procedures, job aids, user manuals, and product release documentation)
  • Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to navigate and learn new computer system applications
  • Proficient in HTML, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to effectively communicate with others
  • Skills in exercising initiative, judgment, problem solving and decision making required
  • Skills in organizing work to achieve goals and objectives
  • Solves routine problems by following established procedures

Preferred Qualifications

  • Some college or post-secondary education
  • Experience working with Optum capabilities
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated process improvement, workflow, benchmarking and / or evaluation of business processes
