About The Role

We have partnered with a telecoms systems, infrastructure and network provider on a mission to develop innovative systems and software that make the impossible possible.

For this role, we are looking for a highly engaged Back-end Developer to be part of a team responsible for building, enhancing and/or maintaining end-to-end travel technology. You should ideally have a clear understanding on integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers and data manipulation.

What youll be working on:

• Developing and maintaining backend systems and web applications using PHP.
• Writing clean, efficient, and reusable code.
• Managing and optimizing databases using SQL.
• Building and maintaining CMS platforms and implementing user authentication and authorization.
• Integrating front-end elements with backend logic.
• Troubleshooting and fixing bugs to improve system performance.
• Collaborating with the team to enhance and maintain system functionality.
  
  
  

• Must have 2–5 years of relevant experience in Backend (PHP)
• Strong knowledge of PHP (latest or newer versions) with the ability to build efficient, testable, and reusable modules.
• Solid understanding of SQL and related databases, including integration of data storage solutions.
• Experience in building or maintaining CMS platforms and implementing user authentication and authorization across multiple systems, servers, and environments.
• Knowledge of MVC architecture and PHP-based frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, or CakePHP.
• Proficiency in code versioning tools such as Git or SVN is an advantage.
• Clear understanding of integrating user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic and data manipulation.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
