Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the preparation, review, and finalization of Service Agreements, amendments, and other contractual documents.
  • Ensure contracts comply with approved templates, regulatory requirements, company policies, and pricing endorsements.
  • Review and resolve complex contractual provisions, discrepancies, and documentation issues.
  • Coordinate with Legal, Sales, Underwriting, Actuarial, Product Development, Compliance, and other stakeholders to facilitate contract validation and execution.
  • Monitor contract documentation, approval workflows, and records management to ensure accuracy and timely processing.
  • Lead, coach, and supervise the Legal Support Team to maintain quality, productivity, and compliance standards.
  • Support improvements in contract governance, documentation processes, and internal controls to mitigate contractual risks.

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in contract management, legal documentation, contract administration, or legal support.
  • Experience reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and managing commercial contracts or service agreements.
  • Proven experience ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal governance requirements.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including Legal, Sales, Compliance, Underwriting, and Product Development.
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is preferred.
  • Experience in the HMO, insurance, healthcare, financial services, or regulated industry is highly preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Legal Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Juris Doctor (JD) is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of contract management, legal documentation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent understanding of contract lifecycle management and documentation control.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to review complex legal documents.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and document management systems.
  • Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and the ability to handle confidential information.
