Job Description

About The Role

We are seeking an Assistant Controller to support the Controller in overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end close. The ideal candidate has strong experience in inventory accounting, NetSuite, and CPG/food retail businesses, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Oversee inventory accounting, COGS, inventory valuation, and reconciliations.
Manage AP processes, vendor payments, and Ramp expense and credit card reconciliations.
Maintain accurate financial records in NetSuite and ensure US GAAP compliance.
Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Sales to improve inventory accuracy and financial processes.
Support audits, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.

NetSuite
Ramp
Heavy inventory accounting - let’s make it nice to have
Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) - familiarity
Food & Retail industry - let’s make it nice to have
Month-end close and financial reporting
