What The Day Will Look Like
As an Application Product Analyst, you will play a key role in the configuration and ongoing support of insurance risk products on our core policy management platforms, with a strong focus on learning and working with eGlobal and Evolution.
You will learn and manage how product and policy data is represented in these systems and how it relates to the insurance products we sell. You will configure risk products (including master data and document templates), ensure data integrity across applications, and help ensure business and customer outcomes are achieved.
You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams (Product, Technology, Operations, Finance, and Reporting) to deliver changes, resolve issues, and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
Application & Product Configuration
- Configure and maintain insurance products and risk structures in eGlobal and Evolution, including risk codes, products, eLink, Webforms and related mappings/setup.
- Make changes/additions to master data within the applications (e.g. reference data, rating parameters, document templates) and perform configuration changes as required.
- Configure, maintain and test Oracle BI Publisher / Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) templates and other document templates used for quotes, policies and endorsements (desirable but not critical).
- Learn and document how insurance products, pricing and coverage structures are represented within the policy management systems and how they interact with other applications in the insurance ecosystem.
Data, Integrations & Quality
- Conduct data analysis and field‑mapping exercises and create/maintain data mapping and layout artefacts between eGlobal, Evolution and associated systems.
- Build and update mapping files and configuration tables to support product and process changes.
- Complete data integrity tasks and verify connectivity between associated applications to ensure accurate and consistent data flows across systems.
- Identify and document platform defects, data issues and root causes, and follow through to resolution with relevant teams.
Change Delivery & Testing
- Liaise with business stakeholders, developers and other technical teams to gather, analyse and document end‑user requirements and translate them into application and product configuration changes.
- Prepare, review and complete testing documentation (particularly test scripts) in line with company best‑practice testing processes.
- Execute or support system, integration and user acceptance testing; log and track defects to closure.
- Participate in deployment activities when products are enhanced or added, including smoke testing, regression testing and checks on downstream impacts (Finance, Reporting, Operations).
Support & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Analyse and document issues/bugs, propose solutions where possible and collaborate with Product, Technology and Operations to implement fixes or workarounds.
- Collaborate with supporting teams to assist in set‑up of any necessary records and procedures (Finance / Sub‑Agent / Reporting / Operations).
- Participate in projects and virtual teams across the APAC region, sharing knowledge and supporting consistent configuration approaches.
Continuous Improvement & Governance
- Contribute to continuous improvement of policy management systems, configuration standards, documentation and team processes.
- Help identify and reduce technical debt in configuration, integrations and data.
- Comply with APAC and Global PMO processes and security standards as directed.
