Job Description
- Manage and oversee the accounts payable team to ensure efficient operations and accurate financial reporting.
- Develop and implement accounts payable policies and procedures for the organization.
- Monitor vendor accounts, ensuring timely payments and resolving discrepancies when necessary.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies.
- Prepare and review financial reports related to accounts payable activities.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and other financial requirements.
- Provide leadership, training, and support to the accounts payable team.
A Successful AP Manager Should Have
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional experience in accounts payable or financial management within the Retail industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- 13th-month pay and other standard benefits.
