The IC Deputy Team Leader will support the Team Leader in managing and coordinating the implementation, design review, and construction supervision activities for airport-related infrastructure projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and in-depth experience in airport facilities, ensuring that project requirements are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Leadership
Assist the Team Leader in overseeing day-to-day operations and technical activities of the Inspection and Construction (IC) team.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary design and supervision teams to ensure the smooth execution of airport projects.
Provide guidance and mentorship to engineers, inspectors, and technical staff.
Ensure project objectives, schedules, and deliverables are met in alignment with client requirements.
Technical Oversight
Review and evaluate design documents, drawings, technical specifications, and construction methodologies specific to airport facilities.
Conduct thorough assessments to ensure compliance with international airport standards (ICAO, FAA, IATA, etc.).
Oversee construction supervision activities, ensuring adherence to approved plans, specifications, and safety protocols.
Prepare and validate cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and technical specifications for airport infrastructure.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
Ensure proper implementation of quality assurance and control procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
Participate in technical audits, inspections, and progress evaluations.
Identify technical issues and propose effective solutions in a timely manner.
Stakeholder Engagement
Support the Team Leader in coordinating with clients, contractors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
Prepare and present technical reports, progress updates, and project documentation.
Assist in managing project risks, variations, and contractual issues.
Preferred Qualifications
✅ Post-Graduate Degree Holder
Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Transportation Engineering, or related field.
✅ 5 to 12 Years of Relevant Experience
Combined experience in the design and construction supervision of airport facilities, including but not limited to:
