What are we looking for?

We’re looking for a highly agile, systems-oriented AI Engineer who thrives at the intersection of product and engineering. This isn’t a traditional software engineering role—you’ll work directly with product, data, and operations to identify workflows that AI agents can automate and then build and deploy solutions rapidly.

The ideal candidate moves fast, shipping in days rather than sprints, experiments boldly without waiting for approvals, and treats AI agents as their primary building material. You should be comfortable iterating quickly, learning from public failures, and continuously pushing the boundaries of what AI can do to improve workflows.

What are you expected to do?

• Identify high-value automation and AI agent opportunities across the product and internal operations.
• Design, build, and deploy AI agents using frameworks such as LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, or custom LLM pipelines.
• Write clean, minimal code—Python preferred—to integrate APIs, LLMs, and data sources into functional agents.
• Define success criteria and evaluation loops for each agent, iterating quickly when things don’t work.
• Act as the internal product owner for AI tooling: prioritize the backlog, discontinue what doesn’t work, and champion what does.
• Translate business problems into agent architecture without waiting for detailed briefs.
• Document and communicate your work so others can learn from or extend it.
  
  
  

You’ll be a great fit if:

• You have 2 years of experience identifying automation and AI agent opportunities across the product and internal operations.
• You use Python in a functional way, not just for scripting.
• You work with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and Gemini.
• You leverage agent frameworks like LangChain, AutoGen, and CrewAI.
• You build RAG pipelines and work with vector databases.
• You integrate APIs and design webhooks effectively.
• You apply advanced prompt engineering techniques.
• You have basic experience with CI/CD and cloud deployment.
• You are amenable to work during 7AM-4PM, Monday-Friday.

Please note: This role is remote; however, we require candidates to be based locally in the Philippines. This is to support occasional onsite activities such as team events, client meetings, or equipment handover. Additionally, local residency is necessary for compliance with Philippines labor laws and employment regulations.

What to Expect in the Process?

• You’ll go through 3–4 interviews plus a possible assessment with our client partner. This includes an initial chat, a culture-fit interview, and 2-3 conversations with our awesome client. The whole process usually takes 3-4 weeks, but we’ll let you know if things need to move quicker.
