Position Accountability Statement
The Agile Project Manager is accountable for the end-to-end delivery of technology initiatives supporting HMO, insurance, and clinic products, including system configuration, integrations, data flows, and product-led technology enablement.
The role ensures that approved business and operational requirements are translated into stable, compliant, and scalable system implementations across Health Plans, Clinic and Insurance platforms. The role coordinates closely with Operations, CIT, Data Analytics, Compliance, and other process owners to ensure technology readiness in a regulated healthcare and insurance environment.
While not owning enterprise-wide ERP or core transformation programs, the role is responsible for managing dependencies, risks, and delivery impacts arising from parallel initiatives (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, data platforms) that affect product systems, timelines, or data integrity.
This role acts as a people leader within the Customer Experience Division, building and leading a technology delivery pod (Senior PMs, BAs, vendors, partners) focused on predictable, audit-ready execution for HMO, insurance, and clinic systems.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of technology initiatives supporting HMO, insurance, and clinic products, including:
- System build and configuration for plans, benefits, riders, limits, and exclusions
- Rules engine configuration for coverage logic, eligibility, authorizations, and utilization controls
- Technology enhancements required to support product or benefit changes
- End-to-end integration of multiple systems to support new product requirements, including enrollment, underwriting, billing, claims, clinic, CRM, and data platforms
- Product-related system integrations, APIs, and data requirements
- Ensure technology delivery accurately implements approved specifications and aligns with:
- Actuarial assumptions and pricing logic
- Operational workflows and controls
- Clinic and customer journey requirements
- Own the delivery orchestration and execution of system integrations required to support HMO, insurance, and clinic product requirements.
- Accountable for:
- Planning and sequencing integration scope, timelines, and dependencies
- Coordinating development, SIT, UAT, and go-live readiness for integrations
- Managing integration-related risks, defects, and production stabilization
- CIT / Enterprise Architecture remains accountable for:
- Defining and approving target-state architecture, integration patterns, and platform standards
- Ownership of core platforms, shared services, middleware, and infrastructure
- Security, performance, scalability, and long-term maintainability of solutions
- The Senior Project Manager does not design enterprise architecture, but is accountable for:
- Ensuring approved architectural designs are executed correctly
- Escalating architectural constraints or platform issues that threaten delivery timelines or system integrity
- Partner closely with Product Development, Actuarial, Clinic Operations, Customer Care, Marketing, Sales, IT, and Compliance to execute technology delivery end-to-end.
- Translate approved BRDs, functional specifications, and solution designs into executable delivery plans, milestones, and release schedules.
- Manage dependencies on shared platforms to protect delivery timelines and system integrity.
- Drive disciplined technology delivery using standard PM tools and practices.
- Manage risks related to system readiness, configuration accuracy, data integrity, and downstream operational impact.
- Lead SIT, UAT coordination, cutover planning, and post-launch stabilization.
- Ensure delivery reflects domain-specific requirements, including:
- Benefit limits, exclusions, and coverage rules
- Enrollment, eligibility, billing, claims, and utilization flows
- Provider, clinic, and EMR/PMS system implications
- Regulatory, audit, and reporting considerations
- Ensure compliance with healthcare and insurance regulations, data privacy, information security, and internal governance standards.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and change controls.
- Institutionalize best practices in technology project management and delivery metrics.
- Support enterprise delivery maturity through templates, dashboards, and governance forums.
- Provide execution insights for roadmap planning, capacity management, and dependency analysis.
- Define and Measure Project Success Metrics
Ensure that clear, measurable project success metrics (e.g., system stability, adoption rates, turnaround time improvement, defect thresholds, compliance adherence, financial impact, customer experience impact) are identified during project initiation, formally documented in the project charter or governance artifacts, aligned with business sponsors, and objectively measured and reported at project closure to confirm value realization.
People Leadership (Technology Delivery)
- Build and lead a product delivery team (BAs, PMs, vendors).
- Set execution standards, roles, and ways of working aligned
- Coach team members on translating product intent into system-ready outcomes.

Professional Qualification
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- Master’s degree or formal Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) is an advantage
Years of Experience
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in project or program management
- At least 3–5 years leading complex, cross-functional technology initiatives
- Demonstrated experience managing teams and/or multi-vendor delivery environments
Other Skills Required
- Experience in healthcare, insurance, financial services, or highly regulated industries is strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of system integrations, digital platforms, and enterprise technology landscapes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
