The Account Officer role for Non-Life Sales Insurance is under the BDO Insurance Group (BDOI). He/She would be in charge of helping clients be protected from financial damages through life’s unexpected incidents and connect them to top non-life insurance solutions and manage their needs every step of the way. Additionally, he /she will be exposed and responsible in developing and growing business portfolio as well as implementation of processes and procedures from sales to collections.

Other Responsibilities

• Takes on calls, requests for quotations, endorsements, policies and other inquiries from clients, insurance companies, BDO branches and business units and acts on them appropriately and promptly.
• Negotiation with insurance companies and other BDOI units the most appropriate terms and conditions to suit the needs of the client.
• Prepare the required documentation using BDOI system such as renewal advice, quotation slip, proposal form, placement slip and cover note.
• Review policies issued by insurance companies prior to sending out to clients.
  
  

Qualifications

• Graduate of any 4-year degree course with at least 2 years sales experience, preferably as an Account / Sales Officer in a non-life brokerage company
• Above average communications skills and product knowledge
• Good interpersonal and communication skills (ability to engage efficiently with clients, collaborate with other business units/ stakeholders and present in a professional manner).
  
  

The candidate must be willing to work on-site in Makati or Ortigas.
