Job Purpose

IWG PLC Group Treasury is focused on attaining a high degree of centralization and is operating an in-house bank which acts as the primary provider of various financial services to operating units on an arm’s length basis. In carrying out this function, the Group Treasury in Switzerland is supported by a Global Service Centre (GSC) Treasury team in Manila. As a member of the Group Treasury team, the GSC Treasury Analyst will have the responsibility to assess day to day funding requirements for assigned countries, handle cash shortage and surplus, provide timely cash reports and should understand compliance, regulatory and controls in banking and financial environments. The position is also responsible in processing high value payments, carrying out intercompany invoicing and netting processes, managing bank accounts and supporting bank guarantee activities.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Manage the portfolio and overall process of the Guarantee and Letters of Credit following the group policy and timelines.
• Communicates and obtains information, supporting documents, and approvals, to complete issuance of bank guarantees and Letters of Credit.
• Works closely with internal teams to gather documents required by the banks for KYC requirements and due diligence.
• Liaise with Development teams/Local finance, and bank partners on the wording review and negotiations.
• Captures in the bank system or prepare the manual utilization request the issuance/ amendment/cancellation for approval before submission to the bank.
• Liaise with banks on the pricing and suggest which bank to use for issuance considering all factors (banks blueprint/presence, pricing, efficiency, rules applied).
• Monitors and ensures timely update of the daily tracking sheet for efficient facility utilization and headroom tracking.
• Prepares weekly, monthly, and quarterly treasury reports for trade operations.
• Records the issuances, amendments, and cancellations in TMS (treasury management system) and configures any information needed to record in Treasury Management System (City Financials).
• Ensure proper and organized record keeping of all documents and provides copies to LeaseAdmin and relevant team as well as assist with Auditor requirements.
• Keep updated with BG/SBLC bank rulings and local jurisdictions and best practices (UCP, ISP98).
• Maintains and obtains bank access as well as ensure timely updates for Trade Finance.
• Recommend and proactively implement opportunities for increased efficiency.
• Quarterly guarantee invoicing pre-checks reviewer. (exceptions and exclusions).
• Maintains updated Key Operating Procedures
• Performs other duties that may be required to support the Group Treasury
  
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Treasury or similar field
• At least 3 years experience in treasury Trade Operations specifically with Bank Guarantees and Letters of Credit.
• Knowledge of the international financial services industry
• BPO or Shared Service Centre experience is an advantage
• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
• High level of attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, time management, and organizational ability
• Team player with the ability to communicate and coordinate with multiple parties
• Must be a highly motivated individual. Someone who can work proactively and independently
